If you set too many items to Never on your preferences page, we may not be able to fill your box to your specifications. If there's ever a week where you have more Nevers than Sometimes or Oftens, we may have to put an item you've marked Never into your box.
Why does this happen?
You can see our entire selection of food on the Foods page before you sign up, or on the Preferences page when logged in to your account. We show you all of these items at one time, in one place, so you can build your food profile without having to check in each week.
However, we only have a portion of that larger selection available for inventory each week. We do this to make sure the veggies we're sending you are the freshest, and that we're building variety into your Hungryroot experience.
If you have too many Nevers set, it may mean that smaller portion of items available for that week will be even smaller, and our system will add Neverd items to your box to make sure it's full.
You can always customize these items out before processing at 3 pm EST on Wednesday.
