BRiQ paper gel ice packs are what we use in our boxes to keep your food fresh and cold during transit.
The gel packs are made from curbside recyclable paper and filled with a leak-proof, compostable gel. To open one, cut across the top and throw the gel away in the trash or a commercial compost bin—don’t pour it down the drain. After that, you can recycle the paper bag with your curbside recycling.
Unlike our Enviro Ice packs, which contain a gel that can be used as plant food, BRiQ ice packs are not plant food. But don’t worry—they’re still non-toxic and won’t harm your plants if you mistakenly use them as plant food.
