While we don't recommend freezing as the best storage option, all foods can be frozen for up to 3 months.
Some foods that do well frozen: Red Lentil Fusilli, Plantain Linguini , Cauliflower Gnocchi, Cauliflower Linguine, Four Cheese Tortelloni, Spinach Ricotta Ravioli, Spinach Garlic Chicken Sausage, Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage, and most other meat + seafood, Hungryroot sauces except for Avocado Crema, Spicy Refried Red Beans, Cuban Spiced Refried Beans, soups, stews, and all cookie doughs and batters.
If you choose to freeze any other items, we'd recommend either cooking your recipe and allowing it to fully cool before freezing it or blanching the fresh cut vegetables before freezing (not doing so will result in mushy, poor tasting veggies once thawed).
You may see some separation when you thaw any of our sauces and cookie doughs, which is completely normal. Just stir it up thoroughly before use. We also advise to always thaw any food you've frozen in the refrigerator, not on the counter or in the microwave.
Be sure to check the Best If Used By date of the sauces (printed on the packaging). Upon opening, most sauces should be consumed within 7 days but some are within 3 days. This is printed on each sauce's packaging.
