While we don't recommend freezing as the best storage option, many foods can be frozen for up to 3 months.
Some foods that do especially well frozen: plant-based proteins, dairy, plant-based dairy, fresh veggies, ripe fruit, drinks, sauces, fresh grains and pastas, cookie doughs, brownie batter, and ready-to-eat soups.
If you choose to freeze any other items, our culinary team recommends either cooking your recipe and allowing it to fully cool before freezing it or blanching the fresh cut vegetables before freezing (not doing so can make for mushy veggies once thawed). Some of our bakery and protein items (including seafood) are pre-frozen, so we do not recommend re-freezing these.
You may see some separation when you thaw any of our sauces and cookie doughs, which is completely normal. Just stir it up thoroughly before use. We also advise to always thaw any food you've frozen in the refrigerator, not on the counter or in the microwave.
